Cupcakes, a Shipping Container, and my Crew

Updated: Mar 9, 2021

A week and a half ago I got to see my sister and my nephews in a shipping container, which they converted into a visitor's center. Mind you, it had plexiglass, so we couldn't touch or hug. We played music and danced crazily because it was my birthday. They showed me Frazier's latest invention; the delicious peanut butter cupcake.

I still have the balloons propped up against my wall. I have yet to release them and make a wish, but then someone asked me "what would your wish be?" Of course, I said, in these days of COVID that I would like to spend some time with my family.

I'm unconventional, so this was a perfect way to spend my birthday, even though this a difficult time because of COVID. There's a light at the end of the tunnel for me, because I recently got my second COVID vaccination.
