What Are You Afraid Of...

Updated: May 12, 2020

Until yesterday I was struggling to come up with a post for this week, but thanks to David, my Spiritual Coordinator at my house, I got a great idea! Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "do something every day that scares you." Well, I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours!

One of my biggest fears is falling off of the curb and out of my chair. I think it goes with the Cerebral Palsy. We all are born with an instinct to protect ourselves. I have fallen out of my chair a couple of times and even got concussions, but I'm still here to tell the tale. I've tipped my chair over many times, landing in my parent's garden or on the sidewalk. I take everyday and still live to tell about it.

My other fear is a more serious one. The fear of drowning. Even something as simple as taking a shower scares me if I don't completely have faith in the person that is giving me the shower. I know I must sound silly to some people but those are the top two biggest fears. It's silly because I'm an Aquarius and they're supposed to love water. I hate getting my face wet. I know I'm not alone in my fear, so I know all of you aguaphobics out there can relate to me. Sorry this is such a short-and-sweet post but I wanted to get straight to the point.

Please remember this a safe space and I will not judge you on your fear if you care to share yours. Why not shed some skin and share our fears?
