Just for the Plot by Meghan Quinn

Dear avid book readers, 

I decided to do something different with the blog today and give you just a taste of what I hope to be doing in the future. I know the romance genre isn’t for everyone, but I hope you all take a read anyway and of my blog. Anyway, I should get straight to the plot… hahaha. The book that I am going to review is literally called Just for the Plot by Meghan Quinn. I have read a ton of her other books and they have always kept me laughing till the last line. This one was no different; but it was more than spicy. It caused me to wonder if my roommates wondered what the hell I was reading. I will give you a bit of plot but won’t tell you the ending. This is a work of fiction, as are all Meghan Quinn’s romcoms. 

Bennett is a hot shot baseball player in San Francisco, who has a major crush on his sister’s best friend. When his sister’s bestie moves to San Francisco, feeling the emotions start to bubble up for the both of them. They try to hide their relationship from Bennett’s sister but….I’m not going to give you the ending! Sorry! If you want to read it, get the book from the library. But I’m warning you, put your headphones on! 🎧

This book impacted me because I have the same funny one-liners, although her writing is more spicy than mine, we do share the same sense of humour; and we both love the same romance genre. But, as you will see throughout the months, I have a mess of eighty-nine books of different genres and styles of writing from Charles Dickens to Stephen Hawking. I hope you come on this journey with me to explore worlds and different ways of writing and seeing the world through words.
